As part of my lifelong research into what the earth provides us — seasonally and edible — wherever I go, this project focuses on the surroundings of Kura Studio 1 in Itoshima, Fukuoka, during the spring season (April to May 2025). All plants and objects mentioned were found within walking distance. I explored ways to extend the season’s presence through culinary experimentation.
