Moving Out is a participatory project that takes the act of leaving a space as its starting point. Inspired by the current owner's move, I use this moment to consider what it means to move out — what we choose to take, how we organize and pack, and where we go next.
The audience is invited to respond to these same questions. Their answers are collected and used as the basis for creating a dish. The ingredients of the dish are determined by their responses, but they don’t know what the final outcome will be. The work explores ideas of transition, choice, and interpretation — framing everyday decisions as creative input.
